Week One
We spoke about the role of technology and media in the class. For me it was quite interesting to hear and see most of the things, we have used in both past and present. Also, the time is really enhancing as we move from one device to the next, I learned as well that educational technology makes learning easier and enhances it. We also had several task to complete.Tasks:
- Create a gmail and hotmail account
- Create a email group with my course mates
- Complete google sheets
- Send an email in the group chat created and send my definition on learning.
General Steps
- A video on how to create a group contact list.
The challenges I faced while completing the task are:
- Had a bit of internet issue
- Creating the group list was a bit challenging due to the fact that I couldn't locate the "new group" icon.
I overcame this challenge by:
- Being Patient were the internet is concerned
- Following the steps in the youtube video I posted above.
- The six categories of media: videos, audio, people, text, visual, manipulatives.

Conclusion:
I have realized that based on what I have learned during the first week. That I have a lot of reading and researching to do. Technology is something that keeps evolving and enhances every day. Educational Technology is something that is extremely beneficial to our education system, and I know that I will be learning a lot more.
